Twitter, Reddit, Serebii etc.I've only been frequenting these places in the past month or two while briefly returning to Pokemon fandom to watch Ash/Misty/Brock's swan song. Of all of them, /padt/ feels like (in a very weird way) simultaneously the best of worst of the various platforms. Yeah, there's some fucking crazy people in here whose online behavior is red flag after red flag, but once you sift through the nonsense, there are some smart people in the mix who catch things that I miss and know the lore like the backs of their hands. I'm not in the discord, so I've got no clue what it's like, but I've had much more fun reading Brockschizo's breakdowns of MPM than anything I've seen on Twitter/Serebii/etc.
