>>54749943The fuck do you even mean with measurable goals? Does your ADHD autistic brain need every goal to be divisible into smaller sub-goals in order for your tiny retarded NEET brain to comprehend it? Do we need to make a step-by-step plan on everything so you can begin to understand it? Maybe that's why you're so pathetic, because you clearly haven't figured out that reality tends to *not* be as well defined—yet you refuse to accept that, which is why you chose to self-insert into an equally pathetic character.
>"Oh! I'll be a Pokémon Master if I get 8 badges! If I win the League! If I win!"Wouldn't things be so much easier if everything was like that? I bet you wish your life was like that. "Oh, I'll be successful if I do X!" "Oh, I'll be successful if I do Y!" I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but rarely are any goals in life measurable because life doesn't have a solution. Your amount of badges doesn't prove your self-worth. The amount of leagues you win doesn't prove your self-worth. If what you cared about was Ash's "measurable goals" then frankly not only do I feel bad for you, I also think you missed the point of PokéAni entirely, since being a Pokémon Master was never about winning against everyone or becoming the world champion — it was about understanding Pokémon, being friends with them, and all that. It took Ash how many seasons to figure that out? Oh, right. Until fucking MPM. 26 goddamn seasons of figuring out the most BASIC shonen stereotype of "friends are my power".
Liko figured it out her goal was to understand Pokémon in like 20 episodes. Unlike Ash, her goals aren't "measurable" PRECISELY because she was written to against the stupid formula of going for badge after badge to basically get 0 real character progression. Instead, she gets a goal about figuring herself out, about understanding her role, about understanding Pokémon, about solving the mysteries of Lucius that her Grandmother researched...
Ash gets badges. That's it.
