Kanto and Orange are easily 1 and 2. DP is 3. The last half of it is really fun. Probably the best overall league. Johto is 4. Similar to DP in terms of poor start, but latter half is good. JNs/SM are tied for fifth. Many issues, but a fun overall series. MPM will probably join them. AG, BW, and XY are whatever. Don’t hate them, I just don’t give a shit about them.

I think it's just a matter of fact that the 4kids pokemon intro is more iconic in the west than a cover of MPM would be.
But at the same time they might as WELL because a dub of MPM would alienate nostalgic western viewers in every other way from the art style to the voice acting so why not?

Feels like another Jessie, James and Meowth episode without Giovanni and main Team Rocket being involved. If Giovanni really is involve then it will be rushed and unsatisfying conclusion to Team Rocket organization.

I wonder if Team Rocket will remain an actual organization with Jessie. James and Meowth being fired or they quits or Giovanni just sends them to Paldea for a mission.

Ash has moved mountains compared to what Gary was, and furthermore we already got a satisfactory Ash vs Gary battle over 20 years ago.
Theres a long list of opponents who are JUST as cliche as Gary but more impactful for a final opponent.

There doesn't need to be an arc, the second episode didn't even really need to happen for Pokeshipping to be endgame. This isn't a brand new ship that has to justify itself to the audience, this is one of the most popular ships in anime with a girl character so iconic that the final eleven episodes was advertised partially around her and Brock's return to the main cast.

Pokeshipping doesn't need a beginning and middle in MPM, it got that over twenty years ago in the most wildly successful saga the show has ever had. All it needs is an end and every indication is that it'll get one.

there are no real "pokeshippers" here or there are so few real ones that it does not matter, everyone with a brain here knows that its the same faggots who jump from ship to ship ever time a female completion returns. iris, serna, misty etc "shippers" are almost all the same people
