>>53209132This is why I really liked both SM and JN, and I'm not too, too bothered by MPM. Yeah, there's some stuff that I wish the series would be doing differently, but I can say the same about both SM/JN. Really enjoyed then, but both definitely were not without their shortcomings and missed opportunities. MPM isn't necessarily how I would've ended Ash's story, but doesn't mean I can't still find things to like about it and enjoy.
I do like battles/captures/and overarching plotlines too. The battles and the Team Flare arc are my favorite things about XY. I guess all I'm saying is I can generally have a good time with the anime no matter which series I watch (though I won't rewatch every episode).
