Alola seems to be the peak, those Lana mom and Mallow focused doujins make other properties blush, and on non ero stuff they got a lot of cute and silly art with the dex
Galar was Fujo/mind control and giant porn central, there was a huge decrease on no ero art, also apparently Japanese artists got tired of gaijins screaming at them for not drawing Bea and Nessa correctly
The DLC gave a lot of love to a certain toxic trainer but I can't find much on the rest of the cast or Pokemon,people seemed done with that gen by the time it dropped
PLA got a lot of silly art, it kinda deserves a small mention since artists had some fun here
I think it is too early to judge this gen, I can't give two craps about the porn and outside of Rikka and Larry nothing seems to have exploded art wise, maybe a bit of Brassius, Nemona and Iono here and there
Then the DLC comes and artists seem motivated, bonus points for the Miku Collab here, it's a highlight of my weekdays as of now
I can't tell probably artist have gotten cynical post alola, it's either porn or nothing most of the time with very few cute and silly artists popping in, as a matter of fact some sfw artists I follow moved on to gachas over Pokemon these days and I hope they return with the DLC
