Usually I just say what I want: "Classroom, indoors, blackboard, desks, chairs" for example creates a good classroom, the more detail you add the more you add to the background/possibility in gens, for example adding "window, sunset" MAY add the window with a sunset outside in the abovementioned classroom, but there is also a good possibility that the machine can't generate BOTH a blackboard, and a window, so it will do either one of those instead of both, so you get something like 20% gens with both, 40% gens with a blackboard and no window and 40% gens with a window but no blackboard (example only)
