That's it, I honestly gave up trying to shiny hunt a starter. Props to those people with infinite patience but my time is too valuable to waste it in such an inane action with no real benefits.

I went to get Oak's parcel and had more fun along the way than in my whole 2 days soft resetting.

The series leans towards little boys, of every and all ages. But that doesn't mean it's going to slavishly focus on them any more. That extends to offering females something they may want to use, that's not a little boy's muscleman wet dream (or that turns into a furfag magnet, because they spent 30 years growing their own crop of them and know how to get them spending money).

I can't believe this series has gotten to the point where the speculation of which jobs the wild animals will get is actually valid. Since last gen the theme was "circus", my guess could be related to the sea like you say, so "pirates"?

Besides nostalgia or just having a nice design there's such a wide range of Mays that it nets many different people with different interests. Game MC/rival May doesn't have much personality so people can project anything they want onto her including general self inserting, anime May is the sassy flirty contest girl who loves dressing up pretty on stage and has a huge rack, on the completely opposite side Sapphire from the manga is the cute retarded Tarzan girl who loves stripping in the jungle and has a huge ass.
