>>56359260>>56359265Boku/Ore/Watashi/Atashi are first-person pronouns, as in they're all ways of saying "I".
Boku is used by boys and fairly polite young men.
Ore is more rough and masculine.
Watashi can be used by men or women and is considered the standard for politeness and how you'll learn to refer to yourself when you begin learning Japanese, but women often use it as their pronoun by default.
Atashi is more girlish, kind of a female equivalent to boku.
Kimi/Omae/Anata are second-person pronouns, as in ways of saying "you", but Japanese is a very context-heavy language and directly addressing someone as "you" isn't as common as it is in English unless you're close, usually you say that person's name when you want to change the subject to them.
Kimi is fairly neutral.
Omae is kind of rough and rude in a number of situations because of how direct it is, you'll often see it in "Hey, you!" situations.
Anata is a softer, more feminine version of kimi, and you may even see it used for a wife referring to her husband like "dear" or "honey".
