- Gibeon has great admiration of Lucius.
- Gibeon has no romantic feelings for Lucius's wife. Apparently, he's annoyed she joined them on this journey.
- When they reached Rakua, Gibeon betrayed Lucius. However, something happened and Lucius ended up saving his life, which made Gibeon's complex towards Lucius even worse.
- Gibeon's 100-year long obsession with Rakua is assumed to be due to a personal grudge.
- It says Gibeon wanted to become immortal by bathing in life energy, possibly due to wanting to be with his partner Pokemon forever. This is proposed as an idea if they want to take the story in a more tear-jerking direction.
This is all from July 2022. It is uncertain how much has changed. There seems to be no mention of Rakurium here.
According to original plans, Terapagos's power was inherited by 18 different Pokemon before it went dormant (and ended up with Lucius's wife), and the 18 Pokemon scattered around the world.
I guess they realized 18 Pokemon would be a bit too much, so they changed it to 6 Heroes.
