Thought that this could be a hint because the temple pillars were a hint about Dialga and Palkia, but I did some digging myself (haven't played the DS/3DS games), and this just looks like the Dazzling Caves and Stargleam Cavern from Brilliant Diamond and Shiny Pearl. So probably not actually a hint. Maybe the next weird background we get will be the real hint.

For those who have zero idea what I mean about cloyster: There was a super short period of time in gen 1 where Sugimori made the light shine on cloyster's pearl way too complex and a couple of artists on official stuff interpreted it as an additional gem stone or a pendant or something before the anime came along and fixed it. The charmander back spike is a way more well known version of this, but I feel like aspects of the cloyster one should be pointed out, too. The anime basically neutered charmander unnecessarily, but it totally better defined cloyster overall in a way that probably was necessary.
