Advanceshippers tend to be chill because they were forced on the defensive so early on and have mostly kept to themselves for 20+ years. As for Pearlshippers, they just got cocky, I guess. I also can't really explain what made them completely flip personalities the moment Dawn returned in JN. It's worth noting that the largest thread on the entirety of the Pearlshipping forum is the Amourshipping thread, more so than any thread about Pearlshipping itself, so they were always kinda stalking.
