>>57218399Probably yeah, just routine events like new additions, new bonuses, etc.
Pokémon Day usually is the day to make big mobile event announcements, like Go, Café Remix, Masters EX, TCG Pocket, etc.
>>57218818Audiences by now should've figured out that Pokémon Day directs are about 15 minutes of mobile ads and updates followed by 4 minutes of nostalgia-baiting the main series to-date, and maybe 1 minute of a new reveal like new starters or something.
Although with Legends Z-A on the way, I can see them revealing something substantial for a change.
Come to think of it, February 27th reveal of Z-A and the strong likelihood it being a Switch 2 title, shortens the window by which Nintendo finally fucking reveals the Switch 2.
Titles like Z-A and Metroid Prime 4 are prime candidates for "enhanced on Switch 2" releases.
Also, that "exciting new mode", I have to think it's something that takes advantage of your large inactive roster of Pokémon just sitting in your box.
Think Poké Pelago from Sun/Moon, a mode that lets your boxed Pokémon actually do something for a change.
I've mentioned an idea for a Nature Mint garden a couple times, where you throw in a few resources, and your sleep data grows the garden over the course of a week and gives you random mints based on investment and sleep grade at the end (similar to Legends Arceus), it'd be cool to see something like that where your collection little by little helps to promote and upgrade your active helper teams.
