>>58083959We're all passionate about roleplaying. Two of these friends (Delphox and Meowscarada) I met nearly 15 years ago when we were newly minted Bronies, if that gives you any idea of the headspace.
Delphox friend is raging lesbian who has always had Braixen as her favourite Pokemon. We like to stream games together and riff on them, but sometimes that turns into roleplaying through them together if we like the game. Super Mystery Dungeon was one such instance, which lead to a kind of extended universe where my Lucario OC and her Braixen OC have experienced various other video game universes together.
Meowcarada friend isn't as into furries as the rest of us (he was into pony, but kind of mentally compartmentalized that as being a separate thing), but he's a loli freak (bro's a HUGE Blue Archive fanboy and was an Azur Lane fanboy before that) under his polite, soft spoken exterior and isn't too hard to convince into other forms of freakdom, particularly when it involves cats, maids, or catmaids. He came up with the idea of a conspiracy nut Sprigatito obsessed with finding evidence of long lost "hoomans", and that's kind of stuck as his de facto Poke OC since.
Charizard friend used to do lewd DJing on Second Life before I met him. Since then he's GMed my Caitian engineer banging a Klingon NPC in his STA game and is generally the kind of person who is pretty much down for anything. He loves lizards and nostalgia, so when I queried what Pokemon he'd want to be in Mystery Dungeon, the answer was easy.
Luxray friend is a huge furry and loves harem and ancient Egypt aesthetics. His Pharaoh OC is not a Pokemon himself, but has numerous Pokemon in his harem. When it comes to actually PLAYING a Pokemon, he has no longstanding preference, but will pretty much play whatever you throw at him, and Luxray was just the most recent one I convinced him into.
Slowking friend is the quiet tagalong, who kind of just rolls with the freakiness. Fits the serene psychic type.
