>>53113006>>53113048It's still too early to tell, but I felt episode two was mainly intended to recapture the dynamic they had in the OS, specifically Kanto (forget Johto, by then the Ash/Misty/Brock dynamic had been heavily watered down, imo). It was a nostalgic trip first and foremost. Shipping could be argued as part of the dynamic (though it's highly subjective and open to interpretation), but I'm not convinced the writers are trying to push Pokeshipping specifically.
But, there are still more episodes to come and I could be proven wrong. As it stands now, I'm inclined to agree with those that say we're heading toward a very safe and non-shippy ending.
