>>57938956He's just bitter about society telling kids they can be whatever they want and do whatever they want when he knows it's not true and it's just lies. That said it's not lies for ALL children though.
I don't really know what the solution to this problem is, but I think for the better of society, it obviously makes more sense to encourage all children to do their best as that will ensure the ones who are destined for greatness reach it and society will reap the benefits. But you damn everyone else to a life of perceived failure and inadequacy.
vs shudo wanting to go the full opposite and make failure the default expectation, which leads to discouragement, but then hitting the ground doesn't hurt very hard of you never try to climb high. But then the ones who should have climbed high will never do so.
I dunno maybe they will regardless and it's an unfounded fear.
But then again, the dichotomy exists between the entrepreneurship and startup culture of the US and the entrepreneurship/startup culture of the rest of the world. It's allowed America to take first place in terms of inventions and innovations, but at the expense of everyone who tried thinking the advertised success was for them, but then it turned out to not apply to them. Like shudo said about all the men who tried to be trainers but failed and ended up as wastes.
Would it be better if every failed (and successful) entrepreneur never bothered and had put their efforts towards being a skilled wagie? Or is it better to have a society of low skilled failed dreamers, mixed with a small numbers of successful innovators and entrepreneurs? Who knows
