However I have to admit that the gen 1-2 era with tajiri and shudo had the most good ideas, especially from shudo that couldve lead the series better, what theyve done with gen 4 was still utter genius, and today the series isnt that bad (apart from the diversity and TPCI being literally just another american evil donating money to refugees and ukrainians, thats quite literally as low as it can get.)
The problem with the switch era though is various things mixed together that bring these games to just feel soulless and yucky:
The little innovation, inferior than even the prior gens, when at the 8th gen they should've been innovating more than more than ever
The time passed playing the games and of the series overrall which makes it less interesting, thus needing to stimulate more instead of less
The fear and unwill to change, which is vastly due to the poketard baseless base seething over every single new thing being introduced since gen 5 (and this is proved. they didnt change the battle system in gen 8 because "the fans would cry")
The effective decrease in quality and laziness, especially from the 3DS era
If Shudo and Tajiri stayed maybe the series wouldnt become this bad. However, it'd also be much less marketable to RETARDS aka 99.9% of those that make pokemon the number 1 most profitable bullshit in the world, because both tajiri and shudo had pretty deep/dark ideas for the series, a lot of which got scrapped ever since the first games even released (and i remember this being miyamoto's fault, as well as that of making 2 versions and market to retards and children and make everything about money.]
