>>23064967I really enjoyed BW up until Elesa's gym battle, it started going downhill already with the canceled TP vs. TR episode though. That was a turning point for me. Although I gotta say I did enjoy Kami Trio Milos Island arc and the Meloetta/Therian Trio arc. The other episodes were pretty shitty though.
When it comes to battles only Ash vs. Skyla, Cilan vs. Skyla, Ash vs. Brycen, Ash vs. Clay and Ash vs. Stephan were decent.
The main reasons for me why BW sucked was the crappy Unova League, the way the rivalries (Trip/Burgundy/Georgia) never really got conclusions, the way Iris was handled, fucking Cameron, very disappointing gym battles (except for Clay, Brycen and Skyla) and shitmons like Oshawott/Scraggy/Axew/Snivy/Emolga. I also hated the way Ash was acting and the color scheme/animation just wasn't good. It looked cheap.
