>>20556578Trip was...okay I guess. I liked the whole "I want to prove Alder I will train to be the strongest" thing, the fact that he had a camera and seemed to enjoy his journey but the whole rivalry with Ash was pointless. I also think they tried too hard making a Gary 2.0.
Bianca was meh. I wish we would see more of her. They got one thing right and that was the episode with her father (although I was sad Ash took Elesa's place). I kind of liked her character but she was truly a bitch in the Club Battle Tournament arc. I also wish Ash and Bianca could have a proper battle.
Stephan was the best of all of them. He had a genuinely friendship and rivalry with Ash. However, that got ruined by the next guy. I liked the Clubsplosion arc because he did need some focus.
Cameron was absolutely terrible and I despise him. Ash (for some reason) liked him better then Stephan and I don't know why. I guess it was because they needed someone to bond with before the league like Morrison, but Morrison was likable and awesome. It was really forced from the beginning and I wished Stephan would've been Ash's league buddy. I can get behind the idea of Ash landing in the Top 8 again since, y know, Ash's Unova Pokémon he brought against Cameron were absolutely terrible but the fact he had to face Cameron and lost to him, man, that really irritated me.
Why the fuck was Virgil even introduced? He is so bland and I can't believe they let him win the league. Don't get me wrong, I liked the idea of an Eeveelution team and the Eevee rescue squad thing but...VIRGIL IS SO FUCKING BLAND. God I wish they gave him some personality. He is even worse then Alain from the Mega Evolution specials and that says a lot.
Overal, they were...okay. I wish Georgia and Burgundy would've entered the league as well but, y know, they're Iris' and Cilan's respective rivals so....
