In my opinion, it doesn't look much like a dragon or a bug, Normal-type would be boring and a lot of people would expect a Normal-type Eeveelution to look more like Eevee.
I dunno, the name does suggest it could be Bug, and those eyes are rather bug-like, but when's the last time you saw a bug with that kind of fur?
I'd like to see another pair of Eeveelutions, even if it's unlikely, rather than just Sylveon.
I also think that a new type is definitely a possibility. People have been crying for new types since Dark and Steel, and maybe they're finally gonna make it happen.
Light seems unlikely to me, mainly because I thought Reshiram and Zekrom would be the time to do it: the Vast White and Deep Black Pokémon. But maybe it just didn't fit well enough in Unova.
Only time will tell...hopefully not much more time, haven't they kept us waiting long enough? They're really milking this one. And that's probably the biggest piece of evidence for a new type--the massive amount of hype and speculation surrounding Sylveon's typing.
