>>58339151>>58339491>So many Male Named PokémonOk, in Gen 1 there was no such thing of genders except in by name like Nidoqueen and Nidoking, that's fine as it didn't matter but what freaking upset til this day is why Gold Queen evolves into Sea King, why a feminine Pokémon with a feminine voice(in anime) turns into a masculine Pokémon with a masculine voice(in anime), they don't even look like the same Pokémon?!
Then when Gen 2 and beyond came with genders and gender differences, they should've stop using Male Names and use gender neutral names for the Pokémon that isn't 100% male, but yet they continue making male named Pokémon that has a female ratio making no sense on why that Pokémon even have a female ratio and the only male named Pokémon they gave a gender difference to is Goldeen/Seaking which just is dumb as the damage is already done with a Queen evolving into a King when they should have been separate mons like Nidoqueen and Nidoking, also they made the majority of the Pokémon presentation art the male gender difference (Vilepume for example) with only a few being female gender difference(Dodrio for example) as they'll have to redraw the whole art
Then it got worse they started making cross-gen Pokémon and most of them is just slap facial hair on it despite females of that Pokémon existing, none of the cross-gen Pokémon has ever went just make it girly it's always been just make it masculine
I can forgive things like the clowns as clowns are meant to outrageous, so a male dressing up as a female clown or a female dressing up as a male clown isn't uncommon for clowns that is why just changing the name into a female prefix/suffix is pretty much enough for them
I mean when you look at mons like Gardevoir or Mawile, the first thing most will think is female, but yet GF/TPC saw Gardevoir as masculine for some reason and Mawile is based on Futakuchi-onna a female yokai, both should've been female only
