Hau did not get a Toucannon since Kahili uses one as her ace. Besides Blue's Gyarados and Trace's Slowbro There was not another instance of an Elite 4 and Champion sharing a Pokemon in the same game. And never did a Champion use a E4 Siganture Pokemon on their team.
Also only other available G-max mon on Hop was Snorlax with whom he Has even less connection and which was not available when the game was released. I would prefer Hop to use G-Corviknight during the initial Champion Cup battle.
