Honestly, with all of the anti-amour people in here, I wonder if there guys who are anti-amour because they ship Serena with someone other than Ash, rather than the other way around. Like, is there a silent but ardent contingent of SerenaXShauna/Miette/Clement fans?

This wouldn't have happened if they didn't absolutely destroy their own economy. Early game the Poke fairs were sparing and people still rolled for characters like Serena and May on their own. The game occasionally handed out freebies like the legendaries. Then they had holiday pairs which was fine and in line with normal pool. And then they added the tickets which were a nice way to keep up. Then they introduced Master Fairs and made a bunch of pairs who had absolutely no business being limited like Gloria and Marnie limited and fucked everything up completely devaluing 5*. And then they made up completely bullshit holidays like special costume and Eevee day. And then they introduced 5/5 fair limited nodes and lodge nonsense. Now they don't even try to justify it as a holiday fuck it these don't have a holiday or new costume or even a basic skin recolor but they're just limited now. And now that they don't add to the general pool the tickets are absolutely worthless. I'm just hoarding them because they don't fucking do anything.

There's a billion other ways they could fix this they don't. Instead of 5 copy Poke fairs they should have been 5 copy normal pool so people would be incentivised to roll for them while rate up or use candies. They can bundle new general pool with old limited units. So this Lance standalone rerun could be with Chuck. So they're rerunning Victor they could drop him with Milo or Tierno. Bede with Opal and so on. Or they could just be dropped anyways like that one time Sydney and Falkner were just there. Limited units could be put into separate pools on their own so reruns aren't as cancerous with 12 thousand banners at a time. They haven't released 5/5 Master Fair nodes and you know they are dying to do it. Let's see the mental gymnastics to try to justify that when it happens. And then these characters are put into their own banners each while there's 15 other new Master Fairs and Poke fairs and holidays up. Please understand.

Another "monkey's paw" situation I've seen DeNA does; adding characters only for Extreme Battle events and cutscenes, so I don't really get my hopes up for wishlist characters. Tierno and Trevor may not be that popular but some people may like them just enough to spend gems on them if they ever got released, yet they got shitcanned.
