>>53332135>Leakers are very secretive about anything further than one episode out (supposedly to protect against legal action, but the prevailing theory is that they don't actually get solid info that far out because they're wrong about shit that's further out often)>After meming about Serena X Tierno, claiming he skips stuff with Misty in it, and saying he "hates shipping" Gryphon suddenly breaks tradition and spoils THE ENDING, claims it will have no shipping in it.>Like clockwork, Moot changes his Misty profile picture and starts baiting Amour unprompted by the show>Then Gryphon starts baiting Pearl unprompted by the show>Hold further leaks very close to the chest for the first time since MPM startedThere are several plausible reasons that Gryphon is wrong/lying:
A: He doesn't know shit about the ending and he's either guessing or saying what he wants to be true so his discord can have less shipping in it (motive)
B: He knows that Misty wins but hates that its true and wants less shipping in his discord, or genuinely doesn't want to spoil the surprise (like everything else about the ending) so he misdirects along with Moot (motive)
C: He knows that if Misty DOES win, he can claim that he didn't want to spoil the surprise and that's why he and Moot threw everyone off the trail (alibi)
Gryphon, who's reliability for leaks past a certain timeframe is already suspect, has multiple motives to lie, and a good excuse to give if he did. His and Moot's actions come across as coordinated and unnatural, and that leads me to believe there could easily be funny business going on. To accept the narrative being given, we'd have to believe that Gryphon and Moot acted independently at the same time with their ship baiting, we have to believe that Gryphon was willing to spoil an aspect of the ending despite usual protocol, and we'd have to believe that he's impartial enough that his "hatred of shipping" (despite posting shipbait) didn't play a factor. I don't buy it.
