Speaking of which, why isn't there any trace of Shauna, Tierno, and Trevor? Would've been a decent way to tie more into X/Y. Arceus made you care if you liked pretty much anything at all about D/P/Pt, but Z-A completely fails to hook you in with X/Y references unless you've been dreaming of Lumiose every night for the last decade.
It always seemed like they expected people to like Lumiose waaay more than anyone actually did.
