Shota’s battle style is studying his opponent, analyzing their own battle styles, and coming up with hard counters specifically for those situations. Depending on the opponent, the battle can be one sided like with Mega Sceptile VS Raichu, or balanced like with Aegislash VS Pikachu. All the Kalos trainers, Serena included were far more advanced than the classmates could ever hope to be
