>>57753881>>57753871Run only Steel energy. Use HP Capes and the new Poison Bard tool. You want Dialga setting up Heatran or Alolan Raichu. Heatran is a non-EX, 3 Retreat Cost, and is a Basic. You need Sabrina, Cyrus, Dawn, Leaf as Trainer Supports for disruption. Running 2 Dialga is essential to get the deck engine running.
>OptionalYou could substitute Heatran with Rayquaza EX or Arceus EX but you could be stopped by the Ori bird. Red Card can trip up the new Rare Candy decks, you'd be surprised how good it can trip them up. You could have luck running the Magnemite line.
>WeaknessBricking on turn 1. Going turn 1 in general, unless you got Pika and Alolan Raichu. Not getting Dialga right away slows you down. Alolan Raichu honestly should've been Psychic type in this game. It's not a fast deck, while the meta changed to faster decks.
>StrengthsThe people I fight don't actually know what Ori and Alolan Raichu do. So there a recency bias of people not able to work around Ori like Darkrai decks. Dark can hit you with chip damage, but you can stall long enough to kill them. This deck is fun and halts earlier meta (Misty, Mewtwo, Giratina, Darkrai, Charizard).
