Pokemon's anime prior to Gen 7 was fucking dogshit, Ash was made of cardboard, when they didn't want to draw subtle movements they just made the characters blobs and smeared them into place. Fucking 15 years of the same lifeless sloppa but them bending over backwards to breathe life into something as dull and corporate as the fucking Pokemon anime is met with jeers because it doesn't look like fucking SAO. I hate you people so much.
