For the sake of argument, another one.
How the MC and their ace first meet:
MC, one night, for xyz reason, get absolutely blackout shitfaced drunk, to the point where he remembers literally nothing. The next day he wakes up to a pounding headache, completely naked in the middle of the forest, with his clothes strewn about everyone. The only clue he has is some fur that clung to his body.
In a hilarious sequence of events that involve him trying to find out which pokémon in the village he potentially slept with, he tries and fails to find a match for the fur color. After looking all day, and as the sun begins to set, he laments his inability to make sense of the situation. As he stares off into the nearby woods, there he sees his future ace staring sheepishly at him from behind a tree. He approaches her, and what do you know, the fur matches.
His to-be ace is shy, completely embarrassed by the situation, as her current trainer comes along a nearby trail and beckons her to follow him back to town. MC, questioning how moral such a series of events that happened were, decides to put it behind him.
He wakes up in the middle of the night to hear his door opening. Fearing an intruder, the MC reached for a nearby weapon, then stops once he realizes it his to be ace. Half-nervous, the to-be ace grabs his hand and leads him out into the woods where she is overcome with
lust.
They then proceed to have steamy sex. When he asks if she wants to be with him, and she nods. He then grabs his stuff, meets her back at the woods, and they skip town, beginning their journey.
