Keep in mind that the people who say this shit often ignore the fact that Kalos was given the all-important 25th anniversary episode, where Ash's first victory against an Elite Four member happened; that too in Lumiose Stadium, the same place the frog croaked.
This franchise is too safe and milquetoast to piss off free money, and if TPCi found out that Tomiyasu was actively pissing off fans, they'd lop off his head, strip him naked and crucify him for all the world to watch. People who think otherwise have no clue how billion-dollar businesses are run. Hell, this is the same franchise that had the audacity to remove 'Kanto' from a game ONCE, and spent years shoving it down our throats as a misguided 'apology'.
