AG and DP did lack somewhat in group dynamics (poor Brock), but hey at least there was Croagunk and Max .. also Ash + Dawn >>> all (doesnt matter if you a shipfag and think it wasnt "romantic" or not, that doesnt matter)
Dawn and May were also handled way better than Serena (pro-tip - the Pokegirl also needs to catch & train pokes and battle some time, even if she isnt challenging gyms)
XY is far from fautless in the group dynamics too
it also had the most bland robotic Ash
Bonnie is based tho
the best full group dynamic out of the first 6 gens (I havent seen SM) is easily OS with Ash+Misty+Brock
you have to be a buttmad XYfag to think XY had a better group than OS
