>>44625817The thing is, people actually gave BW a chance early on. When BW was just starting people had hopes for it and were cautiously optimistic. In fact people didn't even truly start hating on it hard until the Elesa battle, although its reputation had already been going south before then. I'd argue that people were looking forward to BW than to SM when they were both new, so to blame BW's faults and poor reception on "DPfags and XYfags" isn't totally accurate, much like how SM hate being blamed on "XYfags" or XY hate coming from "SMfags" isn't the full story.
