If anything, a lot of the hardcore XYfags gave up on the series once it ended, leaving behind a small group of remnants; meanwhile, newcomers started arriving throughout SM's run and even through PM2019, and I wouldn't be surprised if most of the current regulars at this point are actually SMfags.
