That explains so much. I did notice that dubfags tend to be Mistyfags/Pokeshippers. XYfags/SMfags/JNfags seem much less likely to be dubfags by comparison.

The human characters after the first generation are so expendable that everybody should have expected that they'd never have any actual importance again after leaving in any sense including shipping. Both Contestshipping and Amourshipping are proof of this: pushed heavily during their generation then never referenced again in any subsequent generation because not only did the ships not matter anymore, but the three non-Ash characters within them as well.

It's like the XYfags that got REALLY into Greninja and expected him to stay relevant after his series. Just a complete lack of awareness of how the franchise works, from people who talk about it all day every day.

Y’know what? I think I finally figured out why most Ashfags tend to dislike Misty and Iris out of all the Pokegirls. It’s because they’re the only ones not willing to suck their self-insert’s dick 24/7 and rightfully call him out on his flaws.

TRAshfags already have tiny penises so naturally this makes them feel threatened (otherwise they wouldn’t be self-inserting into a loser like Ash in the first place) and they hate any character that manages to expose absolute the loser (they) Ash is.
