>>53440956It's actually interesting from what I can tell. Other series have had their share of haters. BW for example was particularly hated. However, fans of other series don't seem to generally hate everything that came after their respective series. They might be disappointed, or they may show dislike, but actual hatred is rare. For example, DPfags don't like BW, but they don't bash it at every opportunity and they do tend to like later seasons. SMfags tended to defend PM2019 right until the last year or so and even they admit that said series had its good point and moments. OSfags don't necessarily hate AG; either they left the fandom entirely or they still stuck around for AG, where opinions range from liking it to not liking it. It's really just the XYfags I've seen who are extremely bitter about everything that came after their series, and at times, even things that aren't XY.
