The way you argue says that Yajima lives in everyone's head rent free because he's "actually" doing the right job (just for you and your own shitty beings) when he literally ruined PokeAni and 3 of the movies. The biggest clues of Gen 6 being the worst are Serena being almost ignored, the staff not giving the XYfags an Ash vs Alain rematch, Ash-Greninja being retconned in newly animated flashbacks at that time, and bringing the OG gang back once again instead.

XY was the only era where there was actual discussion of the anime in the anime discussion thread, outside of episodes that just aired or "event" arcs like leagues or character returns. People would reminische about their favorite episodes and make memes and otherwise be engaged with the currently airing anime beyond what just aired. Post-XY pretty much the most consistently discussed thing here is shipping, which will probably never end, and ultimately very little about the currently airing series itself. Which I guess is why these threads have to go back and back to XY and "XYfags" as if they were the cause of there being no real anime discussion anymore for years, instead of the anime itself being kind of dull now. Sad.
