Yet those same XYfags will say that fans of other seasons (like BW and SM) aren't allowed to like those seasons. I remember people in the past trying to like SM or BW in these threads and XYfags were shutting them down. Granted, not all XYfags are like that but the most vocal people like that were.

To be fair, this place hasn't really been XY central since the purge. It was only recently that there's been a lot of XYfags here again, but for most of the last few years here XYfags have regularly been mocked for remaining stuck in the past.

This was meant as a shitpost but people don't quite get that this is unironically true. Alain isn't a trainer anymore and gave up his Mega Stone. Even if he was brought back for a battle he's been studying with his Loli while Ash has been beating some of the strongest trainers in the world. it it's not a contest anymore. Unless the PM staff are even bigger XYfags than we thought since Alain and Steven are friends even in the games.
