Yajima revived the show, and Tomiyasu slowly brought it to its knees again with both SM and JN.

It's a disgusting ripoff of a different show, one that came as a result of this show's retarded execs wanting to ape what they thought was the 'Pokémon Killer'.
Unfortunately, the fad fucking DIED and took the anime along with it. The show wasn't bringing 'DPkino' in at all; it was bringing in Yo-Kai Watch faggotry into a series where it wasn't necessary. It sent Ash back to SCHOOL, and got rid of all the interesting bits from the games it was supposedly based on. Rather than DP and XY, which expanded upon and improved the lackluster villain plots, it fucking NEUTERED them.
And the saddest part? it wasn't even the WORST thing Tomiyasu did to the show, because he followed it up with Journeys; the series where the best things about it are the ones it steals from the previous seasons.
