Quoted By:
>Number of New Pokemon
2\5. Could have been much better, but I understand GF is running out of ideas.
>Quality of New Pokemon
4\5. Some are bretty gud and some are abominations. See Binacle and Slurpuff.
>Quality of Starters
4.75\5 Almost God-tier starters, excluding Chesnaught.
>Quality of New Legendaries
6\5. I know they were lazy, but I just can't complain. Xerneas and Yveltal are great. Zygarde is just what I wanted, on a Rayquaza package. Norse mythology proves to be a heck of a theme.
>Presence of Mega-Evolution
4\5. We didn't need this but it helped buff up Mawile, Absol, and the eternal pebble martyr, Charizard himself.
>Quality of Mega-Evolutions
5\5. Excluding MegaAbsol (too designed) and MegaKangashkan (underdesigned), they were perfect.
>Intro of Fairy
6\5. Again breaking the scale, Fairy is the nerf we needed to Dragons. And something to boost Poison too.
>Changes to Type Chart
4\5. Weakening some pseudos and even Bronzong, I guess it could be better.
>Lack of new cross-gen relatives
2\5. Remember Gen IV. Even though Sylveon is a thing. But, man, I'd hope for that sweet Dunsparce evo...
>Customization of Character
4\5. A great thing we always wanted, but the hatless option should be included.
>Online Capabilities
2\5. Apart the jew side of Nintendo, we all know it added nothing. The free period of transfers makes it 2.
>New Graphics
7\5. These are, officialy, the best graphics for a handheld game with so many variables and such.
>Gameplay changes (ie. Exp Share)
4\5. Welcome to some, but not to me. I like to raise my 'mons à la Nuzlocke, and not leaving anyone behind, and features like the Exp. All just take the challenge off of the game. I'll have it "off" most times.
>Overall 'Preview' Rating
Honestly, a solid 4.75\5. Some stuff could be better, but the only thing that leaves me in doubt is the postgame... Gotta wait to see. I won't buy it day one, but I'll be next to all of you /vp/oreons in the end of October!
