I am very much a IVfag and quit Pokemon shortly after SM came out, for it did not grab me at all. With that said, I did enjoy gens V and VI, but I want to know what about VI, XY specifically, that made it have such a small fanbase. I still see art for Aloha characters but rarely see content for anything gen VI. I ask this because I picked up X after six years to beat the game and enjoyed it.
