Can’t say the same for Amourfags though, their lot took great pleasure in discrediting Misty’s crush on Ash at every turn ever since XY started airing and tried to frame it as a purely 4kids only invention. Probably just an attempt at historical revisionism because Misty is actually threatening (only girl who Ash has gotten jealous over and is shipped with him in other media) and they’re counting on the fact that most normies are only familiar with the dub and haven’t watched the OS subbed so they can misconstrue facts as much as they want.
Us Pokeshippers on the other hand aren’t so insecure as to deny literal reality and try to obscure/hide Serena’s crush on Ash, you be the judge on which side is the real coper here.
