The best way to polish up your English though is to actively read Pokemon fanfiction and to write some (by yourself).
4chan posts are riddled with grammar errors and have a very low information density (Luis screeching about yawnfag 100 times in different variations), meanwhile Pokemon fanfiction texts offer a way deeper immersion into the structure of the English language.
