>>58843730Today has been interesting. Things started off bad but today ended on a positive note.
So first I lost two pokemon to a double with two Beauties who I never wanted to battle both in the first place. First a Clefable used Metrone and landed a Thunder which instantly killed my Zubat. This really upset me because I had left Zubat in the daycare to become stronger and even bonded with her in hopes she would become a powerful Crobat. Then Growlithe was killed by a Wigglytuffs Pound. This sucked as both today and yesterday, I had lost four pokemon that could have been useful against Morty.
But things did get better. I caught a Spinarak on my way to Ecruteak City and then I caught a Koffing in Burned Tower. While grinding, I caught a Magnemite and Geodude evolved into Graveler while Bellsprout evolved into Weepinbell. The egg that was given to me in Violet City also hatched into a Togepi.
And then I took on the gym leader of Ecruteak City Morty. Before the battle while in his gym, Hoothoot evolved into Noctowl and Spinarak evolved into Ariados. The two newly evolved pokemon would be put to good use and turned what could have been a hard battle into a one sided battle. First Ariados used Shadow Sneak and killed Mortys Ghastly instantly and then did the same to his first Haunter which did land a Curse but all it meant was Ariados had to be returned and out came Noctowl who turned out to be a menace because Mortys Gengar did absolutely nothing to Noctowl, Gengar used Hypnosis but Noctowls Insomnia kept it awake and also managed to put Gengar to sleep with it's own Hypnosis. Then Noctowl made sure to use Reflect incase Gengar woke up and used Sucker Punch before annihilating Gengar with Confusion. As for the second and final Haunter, Noctowl did the same thing, Reflect, Hypnosis and Confusion, one Curse from Haunter did nothing and only contributed to Mortys defeat. This made me extremely happy.
Now any advice for Chuck?
