if you want performance, I'd say avoid scarlet and violet, those games are good but they have some heavy frame drops in certain areas. sword and shield are good in terms of framerate but only if you don't use online in the wild area. if you do that, then it can drop considerably. BDSP runs like a higher quality diamond/pearl (not platinum, just DP) without a touch-screen, though it has been known to be quite buggy due to being very much a rushjob.
..personally, I know a certain poopdickschizo is gonna maim me for this, but I believe that PL;Arceus is probably the best game on the console, and definitely feels like the one that was actually MADE for the switch
..however, graphically and performance wise? Mystery Dungeon DX, New Pokemon Snap, and Lets Go Pikachu/Eevee are the greats for the console.
