Nope it looks like they're different, gen 4 has ribbons for each rank of each contest type while later gens only have ones for master rank, and it looks like the old ones get converted to a "contest memory ribbon" when transferred to later gens, with one version if you had all of them and a different version if you didn't. I've never transferred anything with contest ribbons from that gen myself so I'm not 100% sure how it works exactly
It does look like BDSP has most of the same contest ribbons as ORAS but also a new one called "twinkling star ribbon" but I'm not sure how to get it since I've never played BDSP. ORAS didn't have a limit to the number of pokeblocks you could feed to one so it was easy to max out all contest stats, I wonder if they carry over to BDSP

Yes, the point of a ribbon is to have it, not have it disappear. Unova has all of the ribbons. XY doesn’t because it removed many.
DP has 80 ribbons. BW has 80 ribbons. XY has 46 ribbons. Clearly XY has less content and is the one that removed ribbons. The fact that you still didn’t define “remove” proves you’re retarded.
