>>59042571>I kind of noticed the gratuitous flashbacks in IMO, I've gotten some criticism for it by some people, mostly early on in regards to the first few chapters. But I like flashbacks that give me a chance to work with characters and concepts that won't get to involved more actively until later in the story. It's a way to add context to characters and further develop their personalities and relationships, same as the downtime "filler" FF1anon discussed.
