>The positives
This game's visuals are fucking stunning, the presentation and the small details within routes and towns left me agasp, it's really fucking good, the regionals are for the most part incredibly good looking, the route design which is typically one of the weaker points with spic fangames is actually pretty good here, not absurdly small but not overtly long, just perfectly fine for what it is, the region's design of it coiling around itself is really great and eases backtracking and exploration. Going back to the presentation, the towns and gyms look wonderful, each feels a little more distinct than the last, the gym challenges are very soulful and I really appreciate them, the music choices are fantastic, nothing short of just fantastic, I could feel my inner cowboy yeeehaaaawing in the desert due to how great ambience felt. The difficulty is nonexistent, which kinda sucks but it's not something that really bothers me much, the boss fight mechanics though are something I'm very interesting in and I definitely want to see them being expanded upon.
>The meh to kinda not so great
The character art ranges a lot, some of it is very good but much of it suffers from tumblr art syndrome, some characters have overly designed and the infamous tumblr noses can be seen often, that's just a small gripe though.
Characters range pretty wildly in terms of writing and you don't get enough time with them, but there's some very sweet stuff. What I'm not fond of is the forced dyke shite that I could smell coming from a mile away and I hope it doesn't worsen, but I know better by now. For last, the coding and bugs, there's a lot, most of the minigames crash the game, resetting and even closing and opening the game resets screen options and makes it very small, resetting also crashes the game, there's a few other small bugs here and there like lack of collision.
