I could understand that Serena was intended to be the polar opposite of Hikari but this is too much.
Hikari needs to return to the series. I thought she'd return for XY but they thrown out almost all references to past generations with few exceptions like Hikari's Piplup. Maybe she'll return after Kalos is finished, just maybe there's hope.
