>>56232340>Why must you afterbirth bastards try and tell me outright lies,Anon, you're the one adamantly believing lies because you don't want to accept that you were wrong. I mean, you chose to listen to a poorly written blog article made in 2023 that lists Insomniac as a "second party" Sony developer when Sony bought them in their entirety 3 years before that article was written. Whoever wrote that has absolutely no idea what they're talking about.
Then like this anon said
>>56232353Their definition of third party also includes their definition of second party as a developer who works with a publisher which is what Gamefreak does with Pokemon and Nintendo.
Technically.
TPC publishes pokemon in Japan while Nintendo does in the rest of the world so there's even less reason to call them this made up second party nonsense.
>Outside two Gear Project games, their entire output in the last almost 30 years has been PokémonFirstly, you were given five games.
Second, the output doesn't matter, Intsys got example have literally made nothing but Nintendo exclusives unlike GF, but they aren't owned by them and aren't under any contractual obligation to make games for them which is why their output is so erratic, but they're still third party developers.
>And it was all because the idea for it came from Nintendo's handheld hardware and link cable Okay? And?
There are a lot of games that exist because of hardware unique to a system like Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, that doesn't mean anything in this conversation other than the developer choosing to put it on that system because it suited their vision.
Now I hope you've learned your lesson instead of being a "14 year old fuckwit" who reads articles that contain false and contradictory information.
