>>49713960>For devs:>What are you working onGot three different ideas so I'm writing out the plot to see which is more interesting.
Two are gym-style adventures, the third is a Rocket Edition style thing.
>How's it goingIdea 1 is nearly fully fleshed out in terms of setting and locations. The only fakemons that might be made would be some more Region Variants and Eeveelutions and even then I'm leery on doing that. Its also set in futuristic galactic Pokemon setting.
Idea 2 is a straight region with stuff "bleeding over" from alternate timelines which includes variations of the Beta mons. So that means that the Legendary of the plot must be something like Giratina, Arceus, Celebi, Hoopa, or the Sun/Moon Legends.
Aside from the original but tossed mons, there's some visually interesting early designs like Celebi, Sneasel, Dunsparce, Noctowl, Mantine, Torchic, Girafarig, Politoed, Ledian, Wooper, Lanturn, Sunkern, Tyrogue, Blissey, Porygon2. Kingdra, Raikou, Entei, Suicune, and the early Leafeon.
Even the DPP games get in on it with Rampardos, Torterra, Vespiquen, Gible to Garchomp, Spiritomb, Lumineon, Yanmega, Rotom, Giratina, Darkrai, and Arceus.
Idea 3 is extremely rough and focuses more on a Gale of Darkness type of set up with an evil team. Whether you actually know at the start that you're working for the villains I'm not sure on.
>What cool things do you want to put in your romhackIdea 1 involves a more Digimon "scanning data" set up for being able to print Pokemon. Essentially wild pokemon are harder to find, but you will engage more in VRbattles that give you EXP but no DNA data. More trainers have VRmons than not as well so the DNA data will be mostly gotten as quest rewards or in "wild planets".
Idea 2 I already talked about the parallel world stuff so I'm trying to figure out if I could pull off a set of Distortion World levels and whether you should accidentally stumble into the wrong Pokeworld.
Idea 3? Nothing new.
