"Schizo" is on the one hand, the new autism. It's kind of bland, sticks to a wide range of people, but does have a central underlying meaning that is there, even if often overlooked.
On the other, the meaning being aimed for with schizo is actually pretty necessary at this point in time. It generally refers to a variety of traits that can be summed up as "persecution complex", largely the idea that someone out there, be it a single person or a group, cares enough about you that they singularly have it out for you, to make your day miserable, or argue with your ideals or beliefs because they are assholes, or are enacting some grand conspiracy with you as a victim.
Unlike autism before it, this is actually a pretty fucking useful thing to be thrown around, as it is directly combating and making aware the whole manufactured, trialist positions where people that disagree with you are automatically stupid, faceless "others" or NPCs that is propagated by social media and algorithms that decide what content or people you should see.
There's obviously going to be overuse, as with any cool, dismissive meme that circulates on 4chan, people are going to use it to win random arguments, or look like one of the cool kids. BUT, if it keeps being applied to you consistently, maybe actually take some time to really consider your opinions, why you have them, where they came from, and if you are someone who will entirely dismiss another human being's existence because of a disagreement on one or two points.
